Attending the ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego was an exhilarating experience that inspired and energized me! As one of the premier gatherings for education and workforce innovation, the Summit brought together over 7,000 entrepreneurs, educators, investors, and policymakers, all committed to reshaping the future of learning.

Networking opportunities abounded, from hallway conversations to organized mixers. I saw friends and colleagues from across the country and connected with many new fellow entrepreneurs. These exchanges reinforced the value of community and mentorship in the entrepreneurial process.

I was honored to speak on a panel titled “From Idea to Impact: Entrepreneurs Share their Journey.” The panelists included Abi Olukeye, CEO of Smart Girls HQ, Chris Motley, the Founder & CEO of Mentor Spaces and Sage Salvo, Founder & CEO of Words Liive. Sage was an outstanding moderator who led the panel discussion to share meaningful insights with the audience. The audience included several college students from HBCUs who asked thoughtful questions as well!

Reflecting on my time at ASU+GSV, I'm struck by the collective commitment to innovation and equity in education. The insights gained and connections made have not only broadened my perspective but also fueled my passion for creating impactful solutions in the learning space. I'm eager to apply these experiences to my own ventures and continue collaborating with this vibrant community dedicated to educational transformation!
